Humanities | Great Books | Philosophy and Religion
Hi, I’m Drew Mery. I’m a doctoral student, humanities instructor, and proponent of classical education. I hold a B.S. in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University and an M.A. in Humanities (Great Books) from American Public University. I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Arts in Humanities (Philosophy and Religion) at Harrison Middleton University, where I’m concentrating on the Great Ideas of Happiness and Good and Evil. My dissertation research focuses on existential apologetics in Pascal’s Pensées and Kierkegaard’s The Sickness unto Death.
I am also in the process of starting an online classical Christian liberal arts college: Charlemagne College. Charlemagne is rooted in the Great Books of Western Civilization and the Great Tradition of Christian thought and theology, seeking to further the Christian Renaissance in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty for the healing of soul and society.
